Welcome to version #41 of the Friday letter. Let’s see what kind of mischief we can get into.
Planned Parenthood?
Here’s a revelation that is so horrific it almost defies comprehension.
What is the motivation behind Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry?
Once upon a time, a case could be made that PP and others were altruistic in their goals – they could be defended as performing or supporting abortion because they believed it was the right thing to do.
For a time, there was thinking that abortion had become a cash industry, and the legal support behind it was simple -- the almighty dollar.
To a certain extent, that is the truth. However, the true underlying drive of the abortion movement is at last beginning to come to light.
Planned Parenthood has an agenda? Can you imagine. There is now overwhelming evidence that Planned Parenthood specifically targets black and Hispanic neighborhoods; the idea is to thin the populations among those races.
So, not only are they industrial abortion machines, but racist ones at that. Eugenics lives. Planned Parenthood has taken over where Hitler and Stalin left off.
“Planned Parenthood.” The phrase has a feel-good sound, like “Quality of Life.” Hmm. The PP publicity engine had fooled us into thinking they were talking about birth control – contraception, not abortion.
Turns out, they are following in the footsteps of their founder, Margaret Sanger, after all. It’s not birth control, it’s population control.
Next thing you know, Hospice will be in the euthanasia business. Maybe they already are. Are you frightened by all this? I am.

Lady Justice
This is a story about Daisy Epperson, a real person. The story may have been embellished through the years, but it’s based in truth. The purpose in telling it is to illustrate something about justice.
Daisy Epperson, as nice a person as any I’ve known, was a justice of the peace at Rock River, Wyoming.
An acquaintance of mine made the mistake of trying to drive from Wheatland to Bosler in 40 minutes. (It’s 57 miles.) Another acquaintance of mine, Gary Marsden, who happened to be a Wyoming State Police patrolman, happened to observe my acquaintance in the act of trying to set this record.
A visit to Daisy Epperson’s place at Rock River ensued.
Upon their arrival, the highway patrolman and the speed-record-setting college student discovered Daisy Epperson in the act of completing her mid-day meal.
“Set,” Daisy Epperson told the two men. “You can have a piece of cherry pie with me. Either of you care for ice cream on it?”
A rather lengthy chit-chat ensued.
Daisy Epperson already knew all about the highway patrolman, his family, his home, his work. During the three-way conversation, she gleaned similar information about the speed-record-setting college student.
This informality, along with more than one piece of pie and the warm comfort of the Daisy Epperson kitchen, brought to my acquaintance a sense of well-being. He became complacent, logy, even drowsy.
Suddenly, Daisy Epperson arose. “Time to go to work. You two come in here,” she said.
In the living room stood a small judge’s bench. With a rustle and a flourish, Daisy Epperson slammed the gavel down hard on the bench.
“I fine you $125 or sentence you to two weeks in jail, take your pick.”
Needless to say, my college acquaintance was non-plussed. My policeman acquaintance was unsurprised.
And Lady Justice is still Lady Justice, even if she feeds you a piece of pie a la mode before giving you what you’ve got coming.

Word of the Week: Transubstantiation. Changing one substance into another. In the Roman Catholic Church, the doctrine that, in the Eucharist, the whole substances of the bread and of the wine are changed into the body and blood of Christ, only the accidents of bread and wine remaining.

Last I heard, PP doesn't terminate pregnancies. Also, they are in black/Hispanic communities (and others) because they are serving the poorer women. That is why they have 'free' services. If the communities they are in are poor and also happen to be predominantly black/Hispanic, then they are there. They serve the lower income women, regardless of race. Your logic is faulty to state that they are trying to thin the races in those communities. A plus C does not equal B. You are missing the B part of the equation.
ReplyDeleteTypical conservative/religious scare tactics, I might add. Ill informed and basically? Lying.
correction, approximately 1/3 of the PP's nationwide perform terminations. Those that do are predominantly in cities where the greater populations of PEOPLE live. Another fact is that some states don't allow abortions and there are also few providers in the states willing to do them, so the clinics that DO provide terminations have a higher rate now because of the lack of willing physicians in states where it is legal.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, PP provides 94-95% of services that are NOT abortion related, that are in fact abortion prevention services or are for women's health.
